لقد استمتعت حقاً بأول زيارة لنا إلى حلبة مرسى ياس في ختام الموسم. إن المضمار شيق للغاية للقيادة عليه بتصميمه الفريد الذي يتمتع بمخرج مرأب غير معتاد كما أن البرنامج على مدار النهار/الليل قد أحدث تغييرا في الشكل المعتاد لسباقات نهاية الأسبوع. وكان من الجيد العودة إلى قائمة النقاط في البرازيل يوم الأحد الماضي ونحن نأمل في إنهاء الموسم هنا بنتيجة جيدة أخرى قبل بداية الموسم الجديد الذي سيكون بالتأكيد أقوى بالنسبة لنا

It was a good weekend up to the point of the collision. Our f-duct was working well, so i was fast on the straight and i could overtake Lewis. Webber should have hit the brakes…
Rolling back over the track was a quite dangerous transaction. Now I’m looking forward to seeing my family and being at home after 5 weeks of travelling.

새로운 한국의 서킷에서 레이스를 하는 것은 정말 멋진 도전입니다. 사진에서 봤듯이 서킷은 정말 대단해 보이는데, 아주 최근에 아스팔트를 깔았으니까 레이스를 이것이 잘 견뎌주었으면 좋겠습니다. 새로운 서킷을 배우는 것은 언제나 흥미로운 일이며, 저는 이런 것을 빠르게 습득하는 편이니까 이번 주말이 기대됩니다.

It was a though race in Suzuka, my tyres were really finished and I couldn’t afford any mistakes as Michael would have passed me immediately. It sucks that the race ended that way, especially considering that I also had a problem at the start already…

鈴鹿は見事なレーシングコースで、個人的には開催中スパ・サーキットに並ぶ最高のコースだと思う。技術的に高いレベルが要求され、ドライバーと車の能力を最大限引き出さなければならない、まさに最速で本物のドライバーのためのコースだろう。山場は何と言っても第一セクターで、これがコース全体を難しくしている理由の一つだ。僕たちのチームはパフォーマンスから見る限りこれまでのレースでかなり良い結果を出していて―6位が1回、5位が2回-鈴鹿でもうまくいくように願っている。

xpb.ccNice result in Singapore today, but not too much fun driving because it was really hot during the race! Now I’m off to Amber Lounge for a massive party with my friends. And then off to Thailand… can’t complain at all!

Today I got a cool start out, braking the two Red Bulls on the inside. After that it was a though race as I did qualy laps all the way to the end. It sucks that Vettel got me in the end! Now I’m off to England as I have a race weekend debrief tomorrow morning at the factory amongst other things…
